Furlong Road traffic issues.

A meeting was held on 20^th January with Councillors Mike Appleyard, Simon Fowke and  David Watson. Various traffic options were discussed; these included one way traffic systems, pedestrian crossings, parking restrictions. Wycombe District Council has earmarked possible funds for a pedestrian crossing outside Alfred Court. However, there are a number of technical difficulties with all of the options discussed.

 

It is clear that any changes must be part of an overall package that should include traffic calming measures, such as a 20mph speed limit. In addition parking restrictions must include an element of resident parking permits.  We will keep you undated with developments.
